Big Mission…New Life

Ali Atwi Big Mission…New Life “Where there is power, there is resistance.”Few months ago, I had a very challenging experience; it allowed me to reach my dream to become an AUB student. The mission started on March 2013 when a delegate from the AUB visited my school and spoke about USAID scholarship. After 2 days, I went to Beirut to visit the university and apply for the scholarship. It was the deadline day, and the surprise was that the admission office was closed; there I lost hope, but fortunately someone came to find his lost keys; she was working at the admission, and she took the application from me. Two months later, I received a call from AUB, and I knew that I was one of 256 accepted students in Lebanon. Then I went bananas, and I sat of the triple E exam, even if I am French educated, and I made the interview as well. Moreover, I studied hard for the official exam, and I got good grades that made me one of the best 52 students. Now I took the green light to make my dream comes true, and I learned that the patience is the key of success. 8/11/2013
