The Real Meaning of Happiness

The Real Meaning of Happiness
It’s said, “It’s important to make someone happy, and it’s important to start with yourself.”
A few months ago, someone asked me: what does happiness mean to you? I still don’t have a definite answer for this question. Happiness is a puzzling emotion when I think about it. I would like to think about happiness by the simplest things in this world because life is very hard and when something can make me smile then at least I can be positive for good things that will come. Happiness is a mix of a lot of things. First, it’s Love and support of family and friends such as when I see my family proud of me and they support me I feel comfortable and happy, and that is the same when I see my friend support me and wish me the best. Second, happiness is looking forward to the next day, I am always optimistic and look for the best, and I never give up regardless all the difficulties and all the problems that I face because this life is very hard and I should always be strong to achieve and realize my goals. Third, smiling and laughing are very important because when I laugh I forget all my problems. Finally, the most important cause that makes me happy is when I help others who are really need a help, and when I draw a smile on the face of a poor child. For example, when I was at school, my friends and I decided to sell homemade dessert at school and by the money that we collected we bought gifts and food for many children and we gave them those gifts at the Christmas Eve. There were very happy and from that time I knew that the real happiness is when knowing that once in a while I make a difference in someone’s life.
