Paula Naoum:A Cat of Midnight
A Cat of Midnight
Have you ever owned a cat that u consider her or him as your best friend? It was my situation when I was a little girl. In a cloudy day of February, I heard a voice in the backyard of my house. The voice was very loud and it didn’t make me fall asleep. I got up from my bed and I peeked from the window to discover that the origin of the sound was a poor cat. The cat was meowing and crying.
At the beginning, I didn’t give attention and importance for the cat. However, the voice continued in increasing for more than ten minutes. I felt pity for her. For that reason, I decided to come out and see what was happening to the animal. It was noticeable that the cat was very hungry. I went to the kitchen and I brought for her something to eat. What I remember is that I gave her a piece of bread and cheese. I also gave her some water and she was swallowing them. After giving her the food, she looked at me and bent; she seemed like she was thanking me for my favor. From that moment, the cat came every day and wait for me to give her some food.
Moreover, the cat was awesome and attractive. Her color was gray and white, and she seemed very playful and active. For instance, she did many actions and movements that meant she wanted to play. I named her “akty” because she was lively and love animation. Additionally, I did a very gorgeous wooden house for her next to my home. Furthermore, I went to a store and I bought food for her. I really loved her; she was different and extraordinary from other cats.
Initially, I didn’t know that a pet animal can be a friend with whom you can pass the majority of your time. Akty is my lovely cat; I can’t imagine my life without her. I take care of her and I provide her all that she wants such as nutrition, entertainment…
At the end, I have been enjoying all the things that I have done with my pretty cat. As a result, two days ago, I decided to buy another male cat to make them breed. Thus, Akty will give birth to little lovely kittens and I will be happy in taking care to Akty’s family.
